Reservable Spaces
You have choices. When planning your next big meeting, student club gathering or academic panel, you have hundreds of choices at UCR. Plan early and use our helpful event planning tools to make the most of the occasion.
HUB Scheduling accepts reservation requests for spaces in and around the UCR Highlander Union Building (HUB). These spaces can be reserved to accommodate meetings, banquets, indoor and outdoor events/exhibits, as well as other functions.
The process is easy. Select from one of four areas you would like to reserve space: the HUB Facilities, Student Success Center (SSC) Facilities, General Assignment Classrooms or Outside Locations. Once you have selected the general category, follow the links below to view rental rates, setup capacities and room details for our reservable spaces.
HUB Facilities
The HUB has many spaces to choose from that are perfect for small meetings to large dinners and lectures. The table below includes the maximum capacity for each available setup along with rental rates.
HUB facilities are multi-purpose when it comes to setups. If you would like to see examples of our standard setups listed below, please speak with your event manager. Please note that we do adhere to fire code regulations; therefore, requests for special setup or for additional seating may not be approved.
HUB Conference rooms are available for booking Monday-Sunday from 8 am-10 pm, closed on campus holidays. Summer hours are Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm, closed on the weekends.
*Registered Student Organizations do not pay hourly rental fees in any HUB rooms, nor setup fees in the smaller HUB rooms. Fees for special setups will be applied to events in HUB 302, 302 South, and 302 North. Special setups would be defined as rounds, classroom, clusters, cleared room, etc. Fees are listed below.
General Assignment Classrooms
General assignment classrooms are located throughout the UCR campus. The table below includes the maximum capacity for each available setup along with rental rates. Please select a room to view pictures, diagrams and room details.
All lecture halls and some classrooms have fixed setup arrangements. A select number of classrooms have moveable desks that allow the customer to rearrange if needed. It is the customer's responsibility to reset the classroom into its original configuration after the event. Please note that we do adhere to fire code regulations; therefore, requests for special setup or for additional seating may not be approved.
Academic classrooms are available for non-academic event booking, Monday-Friday 8 pm-11 pm. Only Skye Hall and University Lecture Hall (UNLH) are available for booking Saturday-Sunday. Academic classrooms are closed for all campus holidays.
SSC Facilities
The Student Success Center offers 3 medium size Multi-Purpose rooms and 3 small conference rooms to choose from that are perfect for small meetings to special events. The Facility also offers 6 medium to large general assignment classrooms that HUB Scheduling is able to book during approved times. The table below includes the maximum capacity for each available setup along with rental rates.

SSC Multi-purpose rooms are available for booking 4:30 pm-10 pm Monday-Thursday, 8 am-10 pm on Fridays, and 8 am-2 pm on Saturday's. Group meeting rooms are available for booking 8 am-10 pm Monday-Friday, and from 8 am-2 pm on Saturday's. Rooms are closed for all campus Holidays and are not available during the summer (Only exception is Highlander orientation sessions).

Fees for special setups will be applied to events in MPR Combo 1/2, MPR Combo 2/3, and MPR Combo 1/2/3. Special setups would be defined as clusters, cleared room, square, etc. Fees are listed below.
Outside Locations
Outside locations are located throughout the UCR campus. The table below includes the maximum capacity for each available setup along with rental rates.
All outside locations come in an as-is condition. Any furnishings or equipment required will need to be rented. Please note that we do adhere to fire code regulations; therefore, requests for special setup or for additional seating may not be approved.
Outdoor locations are available for booking Monday-Sunday from 7 am-11 pm and closed for all campus holidays.
